Initial Meeting pursuant to Section 7.04(d) of the Commission's Rules of Procedure in the matter of the charges filed by Justin C. Kaucic on August 31, 2026 against Officer Casey S. Smith, Badge No. 99317: examination of the charges as to the sufficiency of their form and nature, opportunity for the Charging Party and the Respondent to be heard at the discretion of the Commission, and action thereon, which may include a determination that the charges are sufficient and the setting of a schedule and a date for hearing, the return of the charges to the Charging Party with instruction to correct deficiencies, or dismissal of the charges in whole or in part under Section 7.04(d)(E).
